Friendly Friday Comfort Zone

I’m all in favour of comfort so it’s no surprise that I find myself in hedonistic Italy. We shall stay deep in the comfort zone with these people, even though taking photos of people does not rank high in mine.

Snow that Melts Somewhere in her comfort zone says that no matter how good it’s supposed to be for you, sometimes she likes to stay right there and not cross into the unknown.

Let’s see what ideas she spurred with her Friendly Friday photo challenge this time. On all my photos are people, which is not so common around here. They seem to be either deeply comfortable or getting there.

In the first part of my photo gallery there are some photos that you might remember if you have stuck with me for four years. It’s been so long since I posted them on my first blog. This is my fourth. I’ve come a long way.

In the second part are some images of us since last summer up to now. (The two with me were taken by my father.) We tend to get comfortable as much as we can: life puts you out of your comfort zone often enough as it is.

  Let’s start in Sovana. This is my basic comfort zone regarding other people: observing but not observed. The doors may watch.

• 

  Onward to Rome’s Villa Pamphilli park. Italians do sports in a comfortable way.

• 

  Three photos of couples with good ideas.

• 

  In their own zone. In these trees green parrots reside.

• 

  Comfortable, they claim, and by they I don’t mean horses. Haven’t tried it yet. Via Appia in Rome.

  And now five photos of trios. I caught these three inside the Pantheon. Suitably in awe.

  In Piazza Navona. Comfort zone is stretchy when you travel.

  They are either photographers or security but they have the most comfortable vantage point above the Vatican.

  One more comfortable than the other two. You guessed it – Pisa!

  It will be comfortable in a second. Castiglione della Pescaia. The sea is really this colour.

  Back to Ljubljana and Slovenia. Love by the river of Ljubljanica.

  My parents comfortably together for 50 years. Anniversary later this year. Plus happy bestia.

  I tried to explain to bestia that he was actually lying on a couple of cats but I don’t think he can see two-dimensionally.
