On the fence

This is my usual pose,
alert by the fence.
On the other side are 
dangers such as
workers,
geese,
doves,
trash truck,
and the worst of all:
postmen,
delivery men,
and women,
except that one
who brings my food.
You could say many things about 
my behaviour,
my jumping
running 
and barking,
in fact you do,
both of you,
but one thing is certain:
I’m not on the fence 
about any of it.
