Yesterday was day 50 of this year. How do I know? Because WordPress sent me a note saying: “Congratulations on writing 50 posts on Manja Mexi Moving!” Yes, my new blog has been a daily.
To congratulate me on 50 straight posts, here is a little look back at three Manjas in different stages of life. Each is equipped with a saying borrowed from one of your blogs.
Thank you, all, for feeding me with your words (and photos!) and reading mine!
As for Manja, do carry on. We are all curious how it ends.
Age 5 or 6:
Age 17:
Age 48:
Featured photo: Lake Burano over here in southern Tuscany with the sea behind.
Congratulations on maintaining a daily blog post! No easy feat I’m sure.
You’ve aged so beautifully, and the quotes are lovely.
Carry on with the daily posts I’ll be here reading them.

Thank you, Deborah! 🙂 My blog is not part of any official daily posts, it just happens that I’m enjoying posting every day for now… Obviously my daily schedule is not very full. 😀

Hear! Hear! I so agree with the comment above. Carry on, Manja! Your posts are most enjoyable.

Now I’m annoyed. I’ve been writing a post a day too. 😦

Nooo! Why annoyed? Because you didn’t get a notification? But you didn’t start your blog on January 1st as I did. 😉 Well, congratulations to you too! Just please don’t be annoyed! And keep writing!

Thank you, Irma. I’m not someone who likes to know what the future holds… If somebody had told me back then that I’d live in Tuscany one day, I’d have laughed my ass off and wouldn’t believe a thing.

Thanks for mentioning my danish saying. I am so happy to have found you amongst the blogger world. Your posts are always a joy to read. I love the idea of three Manjas over time. They are all you but have a different feel in each photo and life stage.

Thank you, Amanda. 🙂 I had a bit of fun with these. There are certain things I’d love to say to Manja at 17 (but also others that I’d love to hear from her). As for Manja at 6 – she knows it all. 😉

A child at 6 is adorable and can get away with a lot. I thinkI it would be great to write a post about what advice you would give to your beautiful 17 year old self. I have seen that done.

Honestly, this was my first idea for this post, some sort of conversation between the three of us… But it wasn’t quite to be. 🙂 I chose the quotes to speak for us instead.

Oh that sounds like a different twist. I would also like to read that. The quotes are appropriate, though.

Hardly aged a bit! At fifteen you looked ready for adventure!

Thanks, Jan. You mean at 17. At 15 I was not yet ready for anything. 😀

Lovely post, Manja! I love the pictures and sayings. And congratulations on your 50 daily posts! That reminds me of my 365 projects… It’s tough to post every day. You rock!

Ohh, yes, you did it, didn’t you! I suppose it’s just a lifestyle now… A sort of daily task that I don’t mind at all. Thanks, Angela, for being around!

I wonder what he meant by it. Too late for what? And more importantly, what did you mean by it, M? What am I too late for?

Here’s looking at you, kid – here’s good company.

Love the pairing of Amanda’s quote with the second pic, it’s so random!!! (I probably just don’t get it!) Also, great hair!

Hhahha! Well… my mind is not 100% accountable. Sometimes I also don’t understand everything I say and do. 😉 Also, I love random stuff. I like it how the hair looks like much effort went into it, while in fact I always let it grow as it wishes with zero styling (and rare and hated hairdresser visits, as you know). Thank you, SMSW!
