Today’s Friendly Friday photo challenge is even friendlier than usually. Let me present you my shadow of the last six years. Bestia welcomed us and vice versa six years ago today. I couldn’t ask for a better shadow.
I’ve posted this photo already and chances are I will do so again. It is my first photo of our dog immediately after amore brought him home, closed the gate and put him down. I have never seen such a together and at home dog at two months. I was expecting something fragile to take care of and then got this:

Learning the basics. This passage is not passable any more. 
Park Villa Pamphili in Rome. 
Hihi. Bestia. 
The pine trees in this park are amazing. 
This is where we live. Somebody left this at the station. (The sign! Not the dog!) He was two years old. 
This was in March. 
And this is now, our way to the station. Well, vertically. 
The last time on the beach I was scared of my own shadow. 
I like these shadows of the neighbour. 
The light here nurtures and caresses. 
Pre-dog on the beach. The shadow could be a dog with a square face.

Oops..I meant shadows. Shadown is sort of appropriate though.. like a mix of shadow and sundown.

Dogs love being our shadows don’t they? And we love them for it. You have found some excellent images. Love the ‘one, two, three’ shadows and you are right about the final one. Beautiful, cozy light that caresses the subjects. Bestia is so cute!!

When I choose the prompt for each week, I usually do a search on wordpress to check that another challenge hasn’t listed the prompt recently. Photographers seem to like similar word prompts, it appears. Nice that you had no problem finding some more. And I really liked the ones you found! Particularly seeing your ‘shadow’ as a dear little puppy.

Oh, I can only imagine how tricky it would be, to come up with a fully original and never-used-before theme. Both you and Snow are doing most excellently.

I particularly liked your March photo of the ploughed fields, I liked the little lines of green grass that had sprung up where the tractor had driven over then earth.

Thank you, Emma. I chose this photo on purpose because I remembered that you liked a recent similar one. 🙂 But I assumed that the green is the crop, not the grass. 😀

Bestia has once again awakened me from my WordPress slumber! That puppy pic is melting my heart. But who is the other dog – an abandoned one? 😦

Oh, Lexi, I had a feeling that caption was misleading. It was the sign that was left on the station, not the dog! The dog is bestia at 2 years. 😀 Anyway, I’m glad you’re awakened. Maybe time for a new post? I still have your Bhutan doors as my desktop background. 😉
