This week Patrick’s poem called for a continuation.
First, here is Patrick’s prompt poem accompanied by a beautiful photo:
Sometimes
The beauty
Of a moment
Takes the work
Out of the job
So I seek the beauty
In every moment
And here is my response:
If you make
seeking beauty
your work,
the job
is half done.
The other half
is remain full
when you find it.
The other half
is remain hungry
when you are full.
The other half
is feed yourself with it
when you are hungry.
In the photo part, just a few early impressions from the last two days, the first spent in Slovenia of origin. I can finally breathe again and not feel as if I were being roasted. Plus there are parents and friends and cards and clouds and sunset walks. Lalalalalovely. I will try to keep you bloggified, as Crystal says, because it’s no work at all.
And if you’ve been to a memorable day trip and wish to show and tell, there is still time to take part in Friendly Friday photo challenge on this subject that I’m guest hosting this week. Thank you, all!
My parents’ home. ❤ In the hood. At the Emona club card tournament. Ljubljana was called Emona in Roman times. On a walk with a friend. Ježica train station. Friends. A view to the north. Looks like a train but it’s not. Grmada and Šmarna gora, my hills.
In response to Patrick Jennings’ Pic and a Word Challenge #195: Work
What a beautiful homeland you have, Manja.

What a beautiful house your parents live in.
Like in a fairy tale.

Ahh, thank you, Bojana! 🙂 Truth be told, my mother didn’t recognise it, even though she has been living here since she was 12. I didn’t change anything, just the angle is a bit strange.

Lovely addition to Patrick’s poem! In the photo of the “not train” – what is it then?

Thank you so much, Irma! 🙂 I’m not fully sure but I think it’s a row of greenhouses.

Lovely photos, but for me, words over photos in this one. ❤

Ahh, thank you, Joey. 🙂 My words are lazy just as I am but sometimes they really want out.
