Congratulations to the four women who have been choosing themes for us for a year already! Amy, Ann-Christine, Patti and Tina, you have done the best you could. Thank you!
As a celebration all four of them have posted on their favourite subjects: Friendship, A Country That’s Special to You, Imagination, and Connected. If you wish to see who posted what, follow the links above under their names.
They let us do the same this week: post our choices. My immediate choice was to make a selection from my Lens-Artists posts and draw your attention to the favourite posts and photos. I realised soon what a hard task this was since I love all of them.
After having a look through all my Lens-Artists posts from last year on my previous blog, I immediately had 18 favourite posts and photos. And there were still all from this year to go through!! To make it easier, here are all my Lens-Artists posts from this year on this blog.
I only had two to add from this blog to make it my proverbial 20. Here they are, both of them from Slovenia, on the subject of Delicate and Nature. I think it was their greenness that attracted me:
You may have noticed that there are links in captions. They lead to the posts in question but WordPress has made it tricky: the links may be green and extremely hard to spot and yet they are clickable – but only when the photos are viewed as they are, not in the gallery. Consufed? Have a look at the other 18.
There is a certain Canadian guest star, once in person and once with his photo of us. Thank you, Norm, for the visit and company!
And finally, my personal thank you of choice goes to Ann-Christine because she added my post twice to her selection of worthy posts on the previous week’s subject. The first time it was my post on splashing in the Tarot Garden, and the second time she liked the one with my favourites, which especially pleased me. Thank you, one, and thank you all! To many more years of Lens-Artists!
For Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Your Choice, hosted by Amy of The World Is a Book…, Ann-Christine of To See a World in a Grain of Sand…, Patti of P. A. Moed, and Tina of Travels and Trifles
I love the two you picked from your LA collections. Simply beautiful, Manja! Thank you for sharing your Canadian guest star, these are fun photo captures. 🙂

No no, Amy, all twenty are picked from my LA posts, this was the intention, it’s your anniversary! The two green ones are merely the only two from this year, the other 18 are all from my last year’s LA posts on my previous blog. One year is a long time, I changed my blogs in between. 🙂 And this one is almost full already. :p Anyway, I hope you continue with your wonderful challenge! Thank you!

Thank you, Amanda. Does it look a bit Japanese to you too? (As if I knew, never been!)

Very similar to one of hte photos I took in the garden, however, I guess gardens can be created anywhere, except perhaps the desert.

I’m so glad that you do! 🙂 That said, the last time I was there, in November, I noticed a major increase in the number of visitors. They close the place until some leave and a long line forms and it’s not pleasant to wait. Better come early.

Thank you so much, Patti. Now I realise that I missed your intention: to choose one from your four themes. 😀 Well… I had a wider view. 😉 You’re always welcome!

A wonderful post Manja, and you didn’t miss our intention at all!! We only offered our subjects for those who prefer to have a given subject. Our goal was to give our participants an opportunity to choose something THEY wanted to feature. I love your choice this week, and of course love that you’ve participated with us all year! Your images are terrific and I too am especially drawn to your magical light image. Thanks so much for your support and encouragement!
